The new baby-to-be is starting to assert his or her personhood. We're at 19 weeks, and it startled today at a loud noise, and it either likes it or is annoyed when I read aloud to Jackson because it seems to decidedly and regularly react.
Gender TBD on Sept. 1. Watch this space (and Facebook, duh) for news and maybe ultrasound scans.

Yeah! Congrats!!!! When you have the ultrasound be sure to see if it's a Phillips machine or a GE. (Yes my husband is a nerd.)
